A low-cost electronic modular data-acquisition system developed in the context of Eddy-covariance measurements.

The talk "Light pollution: A problem for all of us" took place at the Interactive Museum La Rodadora in Ciudad Juárez, México.

A flexible modular data-acquisition system was designed and built. A general purpose DAM based on the ADuC848 microcontroller was designed for monitoring biometeorological variables at any user-defined sampling rate. The number of DAMs operating in an ECT could be increased by connecting multiple DAMs to the same data bus implementing the RS-485 standard. A signal-conditioning module was also designed to homogenize the output of the bio-meteorological sensors (Castro et al. 2017).
